Each standing on a mahogany stand with turned supports and swept feet ending with brass casters, with wooden horizon rings laid with paper , the compasses restored. The Terrestrial globe label inscribed “CARY’s NEW TERRESTRIAL GLOBE exhibiting the Tracks and Discoveries made by CAPTAIN COOK……. made and sold by J & W Cary, Strand, March 1st, 1816 with corrections and additions to 1815” : The Celestial globe label inscribed “CARY’S NEW CELESTIAL GLOBE on which are laid down THE WHOLE of the STARS NEBULAE…. London Made and sold by J&C CARY, Stand March 1816”
